Privacy Policy

Account information: your name, email address, and an optional mobile phone number, which you provide only if you choose text reminders during signup or later in your Garage.

Machine information: the vehicles and engine-powered equipment you add to your garage — year, make, model, category, and current and average usage (miles or hours). We use this to calculate when each maintenance task is due.

Reminder history: a record of the text messages we send you (the message content, the phone number it went to, and when it was sent) so we don't remind you about the same thing repeatedly.

We do not collect your location, your payment card details (billing is handled separately), or any information about you from other apps or websites.

• To create and secure your account.
• To calculate maintenance schedules for the machines in your garage and send you text-message reminders when service is due.
• To answer support requests and fix problems with the service.
• To bill your subscription ($1.99/month or $19.99/year for up to 2 machines, $0.50/month or $4.99/year for each additional machine) once billing is enabled.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

How you opt in: the only way to receive MileMinder texts is to enter your own mobile number during signup or later in your Garage and actively agree to the optional text program. The unchecked signup box says: "I agree to receive automated maintenance reminder text messages from MileMinder at the phone number I provided." We do not text anyone who has not completed this consent step.

By providing your phone number and checking that consent box, you consent to receive automated maintenance reminder texts from MileMinder at that number. Message frequency depends on the machines you track and their service schedules. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

Text consent is not required to create an account, purchase MileMinder, or use its non-text features.

• Reply HELP for support information.
• Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier.

Removing your phone number from your MileMinder profile also stops all reminder texts.

Your data is stored securely and protected by industry-standard access controls. Your garage, profile, and reminder history are visible only to you. Access to reminder sending is restricted to the reminder system itself.

You can delete any machine (and its maintenance schedule) from your garage at any time. If you'd like your entire account deleted, contact support and we will remove your profile, machines, and message history.

We use a text-message provider to deliver reminders and a hosting provider to run the service. These providers process data only on our behalf to operate MileMinder. Each task page may link to third-party retailers and how-to videos; those sites have their own privacy policies, and we receive no personal data from your visits there.

If we make material changes, we'll update this page and the date above. Continued use of MileMinder after a change means you accept the updated policy.
