MileMinder is a paid subscription service ($1.99/month for up to 2 machines) that sends maintenance reminder text messages for cars, motorcycles, lawn equipment, and other engines you own.
How customers opt in (call to action)
Opt-in happens only on our website — either during signup or later inside the customer's Garage. Text-message consent is optional and is never required to create an account or purchase MileMinder. We never buy, rent, or share phone numbers, and consent is never transferred to third parties or affiliates.
They type their own name, email, and password. The mobile number field is optional.
Below the mobile number field there is an unchecked, optional checkbox. It reads: "I agree to receive automated maintenance reminder text messages from MileMinder at the phone number I provided. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. See our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Consent is not a condition of purchase."
They may press "Create account" with the box unchecked and use MileMinder without receiving texts.
If they skip texts during signup, they can later enter their number and press "I agree — turn on texts" in their Garage after the same disclosure is displayed.
They confirm their email address, then add their machines and current mileage or hours.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies and depends on how many machines you track. Each maintenance item generates at most one message per week. Message and data rates may apply.

Opting out and getting help
Reply STOP to any message to stop all texts immediately. Reply HELP for help, or email support through the address listed in our Terms of Service. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
